On 1st April 2020 Matthews Law started its 8th year in business as New Zealand’s leading specialist competition law firm.
We have achieved a lot in the past year, including the hiring of three new staff (Solicitor Genelle Seah, Executive Assistant Lisa Campbell and Law Clerk Danny Xie), moving into new bespoke offices on Level 33 of the Vero Centre, and the continued international recognition of our firm and senior lawyers (Principal Andy Matthews and Special Counsel Gus Stewart are both ranked in the most recent editions of Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500, and Best Lawyers, and Andy was recognised as one of only two New Zealand lawyers – alongside Sarah Keene from Russell McVeagh – in Global Competition Review’s Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders – Competition 2019).
We are excited to move into the next stage of our life with a planned rebranding in 2020. Watch this space.
